On Saturday, May 30, Ana Roman, a former Hagerty High School softball standout, contributed to her current college team, the Alabama Crimson Tide, as they secured a 5-1 victory over the Nebraska Cornhuskers in NCAA Tournament play.
The match was held at Devon Park starting at 6 p.m.
The Alabama Crimson Tide are set to play their next tournament game at Devon Park on Monday, June 1, at 6 p.m.
The University of Central Florida rowing team secured back-to-back Big 12 titles and achieved historic national rankings during its successful 2026 season under coach Mara Allen. The Knights also saw individual athletes earn major conference awards and advanced all boats to C Finals at NCAA Championships.
