Former TNXL Academy standout Derek Martinez helped lead the Arkansas State Red Wolves to a 2-1 victory over the James Madison Dukes in NCAA Division I baseball on Sunday, March 29, at 11 a.m.

The contest, held at Tomlinson Stadium–Kell Field, marked the third game between the teams this season, with each squad having notched a win in the previous matchups.

Martinez tallied one hit in three plate appearances, scored a run, struck out once and stranded a runner on base.

The Red Wolves are set to play next on Tuesday, March 31, at Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse against the Memphis Tigers.
