The City of Apopka announced on May 8 its annual July Fourth Celebration, which will mark the 250th anniversary of American Independence. The event is scheduled to take place at the Apopka Amphitheater on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 6 PM to 9 PM.
The celebration is expected to be a significant community event featuring live music, food vendors, activities for children, and a fireworks finale. According to the announcement, “Attendees will experience a packed evening with live music, delicious food, exciting kids’ activities, and a fireworks finale you won’t want to miss.”
Private Stock Band (PSB) will headline the night with what organizers describe as nonstop entertainment. The band’s performance will include Top 40 hits, Motown favorites, Classic Rock, Latin and Country songs. There will also be tributes to Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks leading into a Whitney Houston-style patriotic finale before the fireworks display.
Admission and parking are free for all guests attending the event at Northwest Recreation Complex (3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway). Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for lawn seating or use covered seating under the amphitheater. The City’s Parks and Recreation Department is presenting this milestone celebration.
