Rep. Cory Mills, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 7th district since 2023, recently posted several messages on social media addressing both local and national issues.
On September 23, 2025, Mills extended holiday greetings by posting, “Wishing everyone who celebrates a joyful and prayerful Rosh Hashanah! https://t.co/tlR3diY5xa”.
A day later, following a shooting incident at a Dallas ICE facility, Mills expressed his condolences and concerns regarding law enforcement safety. In his September 24 post, he wrote: “My prayers are with those injured and the families of those killed in the Dallas ICE facility shooting today. This tragedy shows the dangers our law enforcement officers face every day. The constant left-wing rhetoric that demonizes our officers, including these brave ICE agents,”.
Highlighting local achievements on September 25, Mills recognized Florida’s workforce: “Florida’s skilled workforce ranks #1 for the 3rd year in a row! FL-07’s healthcare, tech, and logistics across Orange, Seminole, and Volusia contribute to this win. I am so proud to represent our community.”
Cory Mills succeeded Stephanie Murphy as representative for Florida’s 7th district beginning in 2023. Born in Winter Haven in 1980 and currently residing in New Smyrna Beach at age 42, Mills continues to highlight both regional successes and national concerns through his public statements.
