U.S. Congressman Cory Mills, representing Florida’s 7th district, has recently used his social media platform to address U.S. policy toward Iran and to recognize military spouses for their sacrifices.
On May 7, 2026, Mills stated: “Iran cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons or continue developing long-range ballistic missiles. Period. America must stand firm against radical terrorism while supporting peace through strength and accountability.”
Later the same day, Mills posted: “The Iranian people are speaking out against a brutal regime that rules through fear and oppression. America must stand against radical extremism while avoiding another endless war in the Middle East.”
On May 8, 2026, he shifted focus to acknowledge military families: “Today, we honor the strength, sacrifice, and resilience of our military spouses. While our service members answer the call to serve, their families serve alongside them, through deployments, relocations, long days, and countless sacrifices made behind the scenes.”
Cory Mills has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after succeeding Stephanie Murphy in representing Florida’s 7th District. Born in Winter Haven in 1980 and currently residing in New Smyrna Beach at age 42, Mills has been active on issues related to foreign policy and support for U.S. military families.
