Rep. Cory Mills, representing Florida’s 7th district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, has been active on social media discussing key political issues and community support initiatives. His recent posts address diplomatic efforts concerning Iran and local veteran support.
On June 15, 2025, Rep. Mills highlighted President Donald Trump’s approach towards Iran, stating that “It’s clear that President @realDonaldTrump wants to find peaceful solutions by trying to bring the Iranian Regime to the negotiating table.” This statement underscores an effort for diplomacy amidst tensions with Iran.
The following day, June 16, 2025, he reiterated the president’s stance on Iran through another post: “President @realDonaldTrump wants Iran to come to the negotiating table and has been very clear about what he expects…the reality is nobody wants a nuclear capable Iran. The Iranian regime chose the path of the aggressor and they will lose.” Here, Mills emphasizes both a desire for negotiation and a firm stance against nuclear armament.
In addition to his focus on international affairs, Rep. Mills also announced a local initiative aimed at supporting veterans. On June 17, 2025, he shared that his team would partner with Seminole Aid to provide assistance: “My team is partnering with @SeminoleAid this Thursday, June 19th, to provide support and assistance to veterans. My Veteran Services Manager will be there to assist with any VA needs.” This reflects his commitment to addressing veteran needs within his district.
Cory Mills was born in Winter Haven, Florida in 1980 and currently resides in New Smyrna Beach.
