In his first tweet, Mills acknowledged the efforts of individuals involved in rescue operations during the Texas floods. He stated, “This is what a hero looks like. Thank you, Scott Ruskan and all our brave first responders and volunteers who are saving lives in the tragic TX floods.” The message was posted at 00:56 UTC.

Later that day, at 02:25 UTC, Mills expressed his sorrow regarding another severe flood event. He tweeted, “I’m devastated to hear of another extreme flood. Join me in praying for the community of Ruidoso, the first responders, and everyone involved.”

By afternoon at 16:06 UTC, Mills commented on former President Donald Trump’s political stance related to Brazil’s ongoing crises. His tweet read: “President @realDonaldTrump is no stranger to political witch hunts. I am glad to see him standing up for freedom and democracy in Brazil as the people continue to face ongoing crises.”
