Daniel Webster, currently serving as a U.S. Congressman for Florida’s 11th district, shared his views and actions on recent issues through a series of tweets on May 22, 2025.

In a post made at 4:16 AM UTC, Webster expressed his gratitude for Attorney General Pam Bondi’s presence following an incident involving the Israeli Embassy. He stated, “Absolutely terrible. Thankful that @AGPamBondi is on the scene. I am confident that justice will be served on the perpetrators. Will be praying for the loved ones of those killed and for the entire Israeli Embassy team.”

Later in the day, at 10:56 AM UTC, Webster announced his support for significant legislation aligned with President Donald Trump’s America First agenda. He tweeted about voting to pass what he termed as “ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL,” which includes measures such as securing the border by completing Trump’s border wall and preventing major tax hikes. He wrote, “I just voted to pass the ONE, BIG, BEAUTIFUL BILL – fulfilling key promises of President @realDonaldTrump’s America First agenda: Secures the border by completing Trump’s border wall Prevents the largest tax hike in history Provides tax relief for senior citizens.”

By 7:19 PM UTC on the same day, Webster highlighted one of his legislative priorities regarding business taxation policies. As a small business owner himself, he emphasized his role in restoring immediate depreciation benefits and thanked fellow representatives and President Joe Biden for their support in these efforts. His tweet read: “Restoring the 100% immediate depreciation was one of my priorities. As a small business owner I know how onerous the schedules can be. Thank you @RepJasonSmith and @POTUS for supporting these efforts!”

Daniel Webster has been representing Florida’s 11th District since replacing Alan Grayson in 2011 after serving in both houses of Florida’s state legislature from 1980 to 2008.
