Derek Martinez, a former TNXL Academy player, saw his current Arkansas State Red Wolves lose 11-10 to the James Madison Dukes in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 28.

Tomlinson Stadium–Kell Field served as the venue for the contest, marking the second time this season the Red Wolves faced the Dukes. Arkansas State had taken the previous game on Friday, March 27, with an 11-9 victory.

Martinez contributed two hits in four at-bats, along with a run scored and five runs batted in.

The Red Wolves are set to play the Dukes again at Tomlinson Stadium–Kell Field on Sunday, March 29.
