On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Lake Brantley High School standout MJ Mitchell’s current collegiate team the Coe Kohawks lost 26-51 against the Bethel Royals in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
The game took place at Royal Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Bethel Royals in the tournament.
The No. 10 UCF men’s tennis team swept South Alabama to finish non-conference play undefeated at home. The Knights improved to a 14-2 record and will begin Big 12 competition against Texas Tech.
UCF’s Isabella Vega has been named Sports Illustrated National Softball Pitcher of the Week after leading her team to historic wins over Oklahoma State. The recognition marks another milestone in Vega’s standout season as she prepares for upcoming conference play.
