Rep. Cory Mills, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 7th district since 2023, posted several messages on his official X account between October 31 and November 1, 2025, addressing political developments and seasonal observances.
On October 31, Mills commented on ongoing legislative gridlock in Congress, writing: “Day 31 of the Schumer shutdown. This is what will happen if Democrats continue to refuse to vote for a CLEAN bill.” (October 31, 2025). Later that day, he extended holiday greetings with the message: “Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and spooktacular Halloween! “ (October 31, 2025).
The following day, Mills marked a religious occasion with another post: “As we observe All Saints’ Day, we’re reminded that faith and freedom go hand in hand. The saints who lived with conviction remind us to hold fast to truth, defend what’s right, and never waver in our principles.” (November 1, 2025).
Cory Mills was born in Winter Haven, Florida in 1980 and currently resides in New Smyrna Beach. He succeeded Stephanie Murphy as the representative for Florida’s 7th congressional district in 2023.
