On November 2, 2025, Mills commented on a violent incident in Sanford: “Saddened to hear of the tragic shooting in Sanford. Join me in praying for the victims and their families. On November 4, Mills expressed condolences following news of a prominent political figure’s death: “Former Vice President Dick Cheney has passed away. I am extending my prayers and condolences to his family and those who knew him best.”
Cory Mills was born in Winter Haven, Florida in 1980 and currently resides in New Smyrna Beach. He succeeded Stephanie Murphy as representative of Florida’s 7th congressional district beginning with the term that started in 2023.
