Rep. Cory Mills, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 7th district since 2023, recently used his social media platform to update constituents on local weather conditions, constituent services, and the work of his congressional interns.

On July 30, 2025, Mills posted a public safety alert regarding high temperatures in Central Florida: ” HEAT ADVISORY ALERT – CENTRAL FLORIDA

The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory across Central Florida with heat index values reaching up to 112°F. These extreme temperatures increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, especially for children, the elderly, and”.

The following day, July 31, Mills highlighted the achievements of his office in serving constituents: “My outstanding constituent services team and I are delivering incredible results for Florida’s 7th District! Cory Mills was born in Winter Haven, Florida in 1980 and currently resides in New Smyrna Beach. He succeeded Stephanie Murphy as representative for Florida’s 7th district in 2023.
