Rep. Cory Mills, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 7th district since 2023, recently used his social media platform to comment on national leadership, honor a World War II veteran, and highlight Florida’s citrus industry.
On May 3, Mills posted about former President Donald Trump’s leadership style: “President Trump has shown what strong leadership looks like: decisive, targeted, and effective. From taking out terrorist leaders to executing precise operations like Midnight Hammer, these actions achieved results without dragging America into endless wars. This isn’t Iraq or https://t.co/cA3bLxQmbf”.
The following day, May 4, Mills honored a local centenarian veteran: “Today, I want to honor John Elvin Zuch, a 103 years old, soon to be 104 this July, WWII veteran. John served our nation in WWII from 1944–1946 in the U.S. Navy aboard a subchaser in the South Pacific, including during the Battle of Leyte Gulf and the invasion of Luzon. Later that same day, Mills recognized National Orange Juice Day and praised Florida’s agricultural workers: “Happy National Orange Juice Day! Florida is the second-largest citrus producer in the United States, and our growers produce the finest oranges in the world. Behind every glass is the hard work of dedicated farmers who keep this industry, and our communities, strong. I’m https://t.co/EA5xqDOKPQ”.
Cory Mills was born in Winter Haven, Florida in 1980 and currently resides in New Smyrna Beach at age 42. He succeeded Stephanie Murphy as representative for Florida’s 7th district beginning with his term in 2023.
