Rep. Cory Mills, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 7th district since 2023, recently shared several posts on his official social media account addressing topics ranging from community achievements to veteran recognition.

On July 24, 2025, Mills posted a brief tribute: “Rest in peace, patriot.”

The following day, July 25, he acknowledged National Hire a Veteran Day with a message reflecting on his personal experience as both an Army veteran and business owner. He wrote: “As an Army veteran and previous business owner, I want to take a moment to acknowledge National Hire a Veteran Day. It is important to recognize the incredible talents and resilience that our veterans bring to the workforce. I witnessed firsthand the dedication, discipline, and”

Later that same day, Mills congratulated a local youth sports team for their recent success: “Congratulations to our very own Lake Mary girls 12U softball team on making it to the 2025 Little League Softball World Series! We are rooting for you!”

Cory Mills has represented Florida’s 7th congressional district since succeeding Stephanie Murphy in 2023. Born in Winter Haven in 1980 and currently residing in New Smyrna Beach, Mills brings experience as both a military veteran and former business owner to his role in Congress.
