Briana Neal, a former Lyman High School standout now playing for the Saint Leo Lions, is set to compete in the NCAA Division II Softball Tournament.
The Lions are entering as the number one seed and will face the first seed Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
The tournament opens with the first game set for Friday, May 29, at 9 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
The University of Central Florida rowing team secured back-to-back Big 12 titles and achieved historic national rankings during its successful 2026 season under coach Mara Allen. The Knights also saw individual athletes earn major conference awards and advanced all boats to C Finals at NCAA Championships.
