Former Lyman High School softball standout Briana Neal helped her current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, secure a 5-3 victory over the Cal State San Marcos Cougars on Friday, May 29, in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Competition was held at Jim Frost Stadium, with a 9 a.m. start.

The Lions are scheduled to play again on Sunday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
