Former Lyman High School softball standout Briana Neal helped her current college team, the Saint Leo Lions, secure a 5-3 victory over the Cal State San Marcos Cougars on Friday, May 29, in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Competition was held at Jim Frost Stadium, with a 9 a.m. start.
The Lions are scheduled to play again on Sunday, May 31, at 11 a.m. at Jim Frost Stadium.
The University of Central Florida rowing team secured back-to-back Big 12 titles and achieved historic national rankings during its successful 2026 season under coach Mara Allen. The Knights also saw individual athletes earn major conference awards and advanced all boats to C Finals at NCAA Championships.
