The Seminole State Softball Team was swept by Santa Fe College on Thursday (4-1, 4-3). In the span of 48 hours, the Raiders went from challenging for a Mid-Florida Conference Championship to now hosting a one-game playoff as the conference tournament 3-seed.
SSC will host St. Johns River on Tuesday, April 19th at 3:00 pm at Raider Softball Field. The winner will travel to Gainesville to play the Saints in a best-of-three game series on Thursday (doubleheader) and Friday (the "if necessary" game). The winner of that series will advance to the FCSAA State Tournament in May (hosted by Seminole State) at Boombah Soldiers Creek.
Season Tickets will be honored at the MFC game on Tuesday. Single game tickets are the same price.
RAIDER NOTES:
- Tickets for home games (cash only) are $5 for adults/$3 for youth & seniors. Season tickets are $30. All are available at the gate.

- The 2020 softball team was 28-1 prior to the pandemic and has a remarkable 179-44 record over the previous four seasons
- The Raiders have qualified for the FCSAA State Tournament in 17 out of the last 18 years.
- Seminole State will serve as host of the NJCAA Region 8 Softball Tournament May 6-9, 2022 at Boombah Soldiers Creek
- 19 Raider Student-Athletes were named Academic All NJCAA for 2020-21
