The Cross Country Teams at Seminole State College will be the first teams to compete during the 2022-23 academic year. The Runnin' Raiders will start the season on Daytona Beach on August 26. This will also be the first event for new Head Coach Tucker Morgan
After the Daytona Relays, SSC will have a quick turnaround; heading to Lakeland for the Fire Short Course meet on September 3. Seminole will head back up to Daytona for Embry Riddle's home meet on Septermber 17. The Raiders will conclude their regular season in Avon, FL at the South Florida State College meet on September 30.
The FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII meet (October 28th) and the NJCAA National Championships (November 12) will both take place at Florida State University's home course in Tallahassee.
RAIDER NOTES:
- The Men's Team finished 3rd in the FCSAA Region VIII in 2020, there was not a Women's team in 2020
- During the 2019 season, the men's team finished 16th at the NJCAA National meet
- 43 Raider Student-Athletes were named Academic All Conference for 2021-22 and 13 achieved Academic All American Status.
- Raider Athletics has generated close to $1,000,000 in economic impact to Seminole County since 2017.
