Calling all Anglers and Seafood Lovers! This weekend is GET HOOK'D ON LAKE MONROE FISHING TOURNAMENT AND SEAFOOD FESTIVAL!
Anglers – start your new year off right with a FREE GET HOOK’D ON LAKE MONROE Bass & Crappie Fishing Tournament on Saturday, January 7th with $10,000 in prizes! Fishing begins at 7 AM, weigh-in begins at 1 PM and awards will be announced at 5 PM. Mandatory attendance at the Captain's Meeting on Friday, January 6th from 6 – 8 PM at Celery City Craft is required.
Bring your friends, family and appetite to enjoy a GET HOOK’D ON LAKE MONROE SEAFOOD FESTIVAL in downtown Sanford from NOON – 6 PM on Saturday and visit our delightful, historic downtown shopping corridor with a wide variety of merchants, breweries, galleries and more. The festival will feature live music, lots of vendors, product demos and a kid zone!
Stick around on Sunday for a free fishing rodeo for kids at Lake Carola too! And yes, the regularly scheduled Food Truck Fiesta will occur in downtown on Sunday from 1-6 PM!
