78.9% of Seminole County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 467,382 citizens living in Seminole County in 2021, 78.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 368,714 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 177,114 were male, constituting 48%, and 191,600 were female, making up 52%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Seminole County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 80%.
