On June 13th and 14th, Congressman Cory Mills’ team, in coordination with the State Department, hosted a Passport Expo in Sanford, Florida.

“I am pleased to share that our team was able to assist nearly 550 constituents in Florida’s 7th Congressional District in submitting or renewing their passport applications and efficiently processing them with the support of the U.S. State Department,” said Congressman Cory Mills. “We are here to support you; assisting with passport issues is just one of our many services. We are so proud to have had such a remarkable turnout and make it possible for many first-time passport holders to submit their applications and be able to travel.”

“Without the assistance of Congressman Cory Mills and the State Department during the Passport Expo, my family wouldn’t have been able to obtain our passports in time for travel. We were amazed by how fast and efficient the process was. We submitted our applications and received our receipts in less than an hour. We were even more surprised when we received our new passports in the mail within 5 business days without paying for the expedited service. We are very grateful for your initiative and leadership in making this possible. Thank you, Congressman Mills, for advocating for our communities. You have demonstrated your commitment to serving your constituents and addressing their needs. We are proud to have you represent us in Congress. We look forward to traveling with our new passports and seeing more of the world,” said Wendy, a constituent of Florida’s 7th Congressional District.

“Passport Services thanks Congressman Mills for participating in our two days of acceptance events in Central Florida. His office coordinated events that provided passport services for nearly 550 people. We value our partnership with his office and the offices of other Members of Congress that extend access to passport services, and look forward to continued partnership as a future passport agency is established in the Orlando metropolitan area,” said Don Jacobson, Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Passport Services.

If a resident of Florida’s 7th Congressional District requires assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact Congressman Cory Mills’ Lake Mary office or file a case here.
