Daniel Webster, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 11th district, recently shared several statements on social media reflecting on historical milestones and current events. Having served in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Alan Grayson, Webster has been an active voice in political discourse. His career also includes serving in the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate.

On March 3, 2025, Webster commemorated Florida's history by stating that "180 years ago, Florida officially joined the United States as the 27th state. Today, the Sunshine State stands as a beacon of freedom, opportunity, and economic strength." He attributed these qualities to "Republican leadership" which he claims has implemented policies beneficial for families and businesses.

In another post from the same day, Webster expressed condolences over a loss in his community: "I’m so sorry to hear this. Lincoln was a tireless voice and champion for freedom." He extended his sympathies to Mario Diaz-Balart and his family during their time of mourning.

Later that day, he voiced support for Pam Bondi’s actions against certain federal positions: "I applaud @AGPamBondi for taking this step in the right direction!" Webster urged Bondi to counteract decisions made by President Biden’s administration regarding legal interests presented by the Department of Justice.
