Several former University of Central Florida (UCF) football players made notable contributions during week 11 of the NFL season.
Wide receiver Gabe Davis returned to the field for the Buffalo Bills, making his first appearance of the 2025 season. Davis recorded 40 yards on three receptions in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After his return, Davis stated, “Happy to be back here, this is my most comfortable I have been playing, and I’m just glad that I got that Bills jersey on again.”
Bills kicker Matt Prater had a perfect performance, converting all five extra point attempts. He also kicked a 39-yard field goal in the third quarter when the Buccaneers were leading 26-21. The Bills ultimately defeated Tampa Bay 44-32, with Prater contributing eight points.
Jacoby Jones, another UCF alumnus, made his season debut with the Washington Commanders in Madrid as they faced off against the Miami Dolphins. Although Washington lost 13-16 in overtime, Jones caught a pass for 25 yards late in the fourth quarter to help shift momentum.
In Arizona, Kalia Davis played for the San Francisco 49ers as they beat the Cardinals 41-22. Davis recorded two tackles during the game and has shown consistent performance throughout this season.
Veteran kicker Matthew Wright joined the Houston Texans as a temporary replacement for injured Ka’imi Fairbairn. In their matchup against Tennessee Titans, Wright successfully completed all three field goal attempts and one extra point attempt. He scored ten points for Houston and secured their victory with a game-winning field goal as they won 16-13.
