The UCF baseball team will conclude its 2026 regular season by hosting Kansas State at John Euliano Park, with the series scheduled from May 14 to May 16. The games on Thursday and Friday are set for a 6 p.m. start, while Saturday’s finale will begin at 1 p.m. All three matchups will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and available on FM 96.9 The Game as well as the iHeartRadio app.
This final home series holds significance as UCF aims to secure a strong position ahead of the Big 12 Tournament. Entering the weekend, the Knights hold a record of 29-19 overall and are tied for third place in the conference with a league record of 17-10—a program best since joining the Big 12 Conference prior to the 2024 season. They have also matched their highest number of league series wins as members of the conference.
Friday night’s game will serve as Senior Knight, honoring fourteen seniors from various positions including pitchers Chandler Dorsey, Roman Kimball, Kevin Schoneboom and Kris Sosnowski; catchers Zak Skinner and Mason Wilson; infielders Braden Calise, Javier Crespo, Cayden Gaskin and Landon Moran; outfielders Noah Rabin, JD Rogers, DeAmez Ross and John Smith III.
The Knights recently won their series against Baylor by outscoring them over three games. Notable performances included Jordan Lodise’s three-run home run in Friday’s opener and standout hitting from Javier Crespo and Landon Moran. Camden Wicker contributed with strong pitching during Saturday’s game two win.
Kansas State arrives with an overall record of 27-24 but has struggled recently in conference play. The Wildcats are seeking to secure a spot in next week’s Big 12 Tournament after dropping nine out of their last ten games but breaking that streak with a win over Cincinnati last Sunday.
Looking ahead, UCF is preparing for postseason play at Surprise Stadium in Arizona where the top twelve teams from the conference standings will compete between May 19-23 under single-elimination rules.
