The UCF rowing program finished its 2026 season by securing a 16th-place overall team finish at the NCAA Championship on May 31 at Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.
The Knights accumulated a total of 48 points, trailing Columbia by just one point. Each of UCF’s individual boats placed 15th in their respective events during the championship weekend.
Competition began with the First 4+ C Final, where UCF crossed the line in 06:59.03, following Oregon State and Michigan while finishing two seconds ahead of Ohio State and also ahead of Northeastern and Boston. The Second Varsity Eight (Second 8+) crew then took third place in its C final race with a time of 06:13.60, finishing behind Rutgers and Columbia—the latter edging out UCF by only 0.1 second—and ahead of Northeastern, Ohio State, and Oregon State.
In the final race for UCF, the First Varsity Eight (First 8+) finished third in its C Final with a time of 06:01.87. The boat followed Michigan and Columbia across the line but placed ahead of Miami, Oregon State, and Northeastern.
The Knights concluded their season within the top 20 nationally, maintaining their position both in rankings and NCAA final results without dropping below twentieth place.
