The University of Central Florida women’s golf team concluded its season on May 13 at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional, finishing sixth with a team score of 876 (+24) over three days at the University of Michigan Golf Course.
The regional tournament saw the University of Southern California win with a five-stroke lead and a total score of 853 (+1). Ohio State, Duke, Northwestern, and Texas Tech will join USC in advancing to the NCAA Championship at the Omni Resort in Carlsbad, California.
Pimpisa Sisutham led UCF by tying for 12th place after an impressive third round that included two birdies in her final four holes. Sisutham carded a final round score of 72 (+1), helping secure the Knights’ sixth-place finish. One Kashima followed closely behind, tying for 15th after shooting a final round of 75 (+4) and ending with a birdie on her last hole.
Mila Jurine tied for 28th overall by improving two places during her last round, shooting a 74 (+3) with two birdies and ten pars. Molly Smith climbed seven spots to tie for 33rd place after finishing strong with three birdies on her back nine. Tiffany Tsai rounded out UCF’s lineup by tying for 55th place following an 81 (+10) in her last round.
As a team, UCF finished third among all teams in pars made during the week (167 total) and tied for sixth in total birdies (35). The season’s conclusion marks another competitive showing from UCF women’s golf on the national stage.
