At the May 2, 2022, City Commission Meeting, Commissioner Matt McMillan nominated Hung Tien Phan, Owner of Long Master Tailor Inc. located at 300 St. Laurent, Suite 116, Longwood, FL 32750, to receive the Business Person of the Month Award for May 2022.
Long Master Tailor was established in 1991 and has been providing garment alterations and repairs within the city of Longwood for 31 years. Services provided at Long Master Tailor include garment resizing, embroidery and monograms, alterations to wedding party clothing and suits, Homecoming and Prom dresses, private school uniforms, and children’s scout apparel such as sashes and badges. They are a family-owned business that has been passed down through the generations. Their master tailor, Jenny, has been a seamstress/tailor for over 35 years and Hung Tien Phan has provided tailoring services to the Longwood Police Department for 12 years. They currently have a 4-star rating on Yelp and a 5-star rating on Google. This can be attributed to the work ethic and dedication shown by Mr. Phan who can always be found working on his sewing machine whenever you stop by his business. He stops long enough to assist his customers and goes right back to work.
The City of Longwood is pleased to have Owner, Hung Tien Phan, and Long Master Tailor, Inc. as part of its business community.
