Cheez-It® Bowl Parade of Bands featuring Florida State University and University of Oklahoma | City of Winter Park

The City of Winter Park will proudly host the 15th Cheez-It Bowl Parade of Bands, featuring school bands from Florida State University and the University of Oklahoma, Thursday, December 29, at 11 a.m. As a prelude to the Cheez-It® Bowl game at 5:30 p.m. in Camping World® Stadium, school bands, cheerleaders and mascots will march through downtown Winter Park and perform a “Bandtastic Game Day Preview” in Central Park. 

The parade will start at the intersection of Park and Lyman avenues, heading north on Park Avenue through downtown Winter Park. After turning west onto Garfield Avenue, they will proceed into Central Park where they will perform for all fans to enjoy. 

Please note the following roads that will be closed to thru traffic: 

  • 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. 
Park Avenue between Comstock and Canton avenues 

Morse Boulevard between Park and New York avenues 

  • 9:30 to 11 a.m. 
Interlachen Avenue between Fairbanks and New England avenues (bus staging area) 

Lyman Avenue between Knowles and Interlachen avenues (band staging area) 

The Cheez-It® Bowl is operated by Florida Citrus Sports, a non-profit group which also manages the Camping World® Kickoff, Cheez-It® Citrus Bowl, and the Florida Blue® Florida Classic.
