Daniel Webster, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 11th district, recently shared a series of statements on social media addressing a variety of topics from national commemoration to space exploration challenges.

On March 29, 2025, Webster paid homage to veterans on the Vietnam War Veterans Day. He stated, "Today, we pause to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who served in the Vietnam War. On this Vietnam War Veterans Day, we honor those who served our country and pay tribute to those who laid down their lives in service to our nation. We owe you a debt we can never repay."

Further engaging with political and technological discourse on April 1, 2025, Webster commented on an interview involving prominent tech figure Elon Musk and the DOGE team. Expressing support for their efforts to enhance government efficiency, he said, "This is a must-watch interview. @ElonMusk and the @DOGE team sat down with @BretBaier to talk about their work to make the government more efficient by cutting out waste, fraud, and abuse. I support their efforts, and will continue to do my part in Congress to rein in reckless."

In a separate event on April 1, 2025, Webster addressed concerns regarding American space leadership during a House Science hearing. He raised a crucial question concerning the potential threats from China in the space domain, stating, "Is America facing a new Sputnik moment? In today’s @housescience hearing on NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program, I asked our witnesses about the growing threat of China and how we can overcome challenges to secure American leadership in space."
