Spring Cleanup
2023 Dates: March 20 - 31
Spring Cleanup is a free service provided to city residents. Household items such as furniture, appliances and large tree trimmings and branches are picked up free of charge. Tree trimmings should not exceed 10 feet in length or three feet in diameter. Place items curbside by 7 a.m. on regular garbage days. Last pickup days:
- West side of I-4: Thursday, March 30
- East side of I-4: Friday, March 31
NOTE: The City DOES NOT collect electronics, tires, propane tanks, paint, motor oil, pesticides, herbicides, pool chemicals or other household hazardous waste.
During cleanup, materials must be placed curbside by 7 a.m. on your normal refuse collection day. Please be sure to place debris at the curb and away from light poles, mailboxes or trees.
Yard waste Wednesday collection continues during cleanup.
Special Pickups
Residents who cannot or do not wish to wait for spring cleanup for large item pickups can call (407) 571-8607 or email to request a special pick-up. The minimum charge is $70. Once payment is made, we will schedule the pickup. Items must be placed curbside (between the curb and sidewalk).
