In a remarkable display of resilience and dedication, U.S. Congressman Rep. Cory Mills (FL-07) and the humanitarian organization Never Forgotten, in partnership with generous funding from Mercury One, have successfully orchestrated the safe return of 159 American citizens who were stranded in Israel. Their flight, organized by Rep. Mills, departed from Tel Aviv and landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Friday, October 27th.

Rep. Cory Mills, a dedicated public servant and combat veteran, has been a steadfast advocate for American citizens in need. He not only facilitated the return of these 159 Americans but also orchestrated the evacuation of over 100 citizens immediately following the initial attacks in Israel. Reflecting on his mission, Rep. Mills expressed his commitment, saying, "As an elected official and an Army Combat Veteran, I couldn't stand idly by as American citizens struggled to leave Israel without any timely evacuation plans from the Biden Administration. Once again, I found myself taking on the work that President Biden should have been handling. My team and I successfully evacuated over 100 Americans by ground in the aftermath of the initial attacks in Israel, 77 of which I personally conducted ground evacuations myself."

Rep. Mills further explained, "Upon returning to Washington, D.C., I realized my mission wasn't complete. Despite my elected duties in the Speaker’s vote, I've been working diligently with our team to continue assisting stranded/abandoned Americans. I'm deeply honored to have facilitated a flight with Mercury One and collaborated with my friends from Never Forgotten to safely bring back another 159 American citizens, including constituents from Florida's Seventh district, to American soil. This administration has displayed a deeply concerning pattern of disregarding the safety of its own citizens, but with the support of Mercury One, I stepped up to ensure their secure passage and safe return home. Serving in this capacity is a great honor."

JP Decker, representing Mercury One, emphasized their organization's commitment to aiding those in need. We helped evacuate more than 9500 Americans out of Afghanistan during the withdrawal, and we are helping Americans in Israel now. The attacks on Israel are reprehensible. We stand with Israel as they fight this war against evil. We also know that many Americans remain in Israel with no way of getting home. Thanks to our generous donors, everyday Americans across the country who simply donate what they can, we are honored to be flying these Americans home free of charge to them. 100% of every donation made to Mercury One’s Israel Fund goes to helping in this time of crisis."
