Rep. Cory Mills expressed his satisfaction after Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) was granted $1 million from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the rehabilitation of the West Terminal corridor. In a statement, Rep. Mills said, “I was pleased to hear Orlando Sanford International Airport in Florida’s Seventh District was granted $1 million to improve access for disabled individuals and make additional necessary improvements to the West Terminal.”
Nicole Martz, President & CEO of Sanford Airport Authority, also welcomed the news, stating, “This funding will allow us to relieve congestion, improve connectivity, and provide additional passenger seating options in West Terminal. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to enhance the passenger experience at our airport and to continue our mission of being ‘Simpler, Faster, Better.’”
