Daniel Webster, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 11th district since 2011, has been vocal about his support for former President Donald Trump and certain legislative actions. On March 5, 2025, he shared a series of tweets expressing his views on various political topics.

In one tweet from March 5, 2025, Webster commended former President Trump for his efforts in securing the U.S. border. He stated that Trump's leadership led to a significant reduction in illegal crossings. "President Trump did what the Biden-Harris Administration wouldn’t – Secure our border! Under his leadership, illegal crossings have plummeted to record lows."

On the same day, Webster expressed opposition to allowing biological males to participate in women's sports. He criticized Democrats for voting against legislation he co-introduced aimed at protecting women's sports achievements and opportunities. "Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports is patently wrong. While President Trump took action to protect women's sports, Democrats voted against legislation I cointroduced to protect the accomplishments and opportunities that women and girls have worked so…"

In another tweet posted later that day, Webster highlighted Trump's efforts in reducing government spending and waste while mentioning Elon Musk's involvement with DOGE as part of this initiative. "President Trump is working to stop the spigot of spending and delivering results for the American people. @elonmusk and DOGE are cutting waste, streamlining government, and making Washington work for the PEOPLE."
