Washington, D.C.— On Sunday, March 17th, Representative Cory Mills successfully completed his second evacuation, rescuing 13 Americans from Haiti. This brings the total number of people he has rescued from Haiti to 23 across two missions.
"With great pride, I announce the successful rescue of another group of Americans from PAP, Haiti. Our team extracted 13 Americans, who were volunteers for a children’s ministry, trapped in Haiti. Among them were a 2-month-old baby and a 3-year-old little girl,” stated Rep Cory Mills (FL-07).
Rep. Mills also highlighted the disparity between his team's efforts and the Biden administration's response, stating, "Our team's efforts have surpassed those of the entire Biden administration, further highlighting his pattern of abandonment and failed leadership. This is not the first time we've had to step in to do Joe Biden’s job for him. Previously, we rescued 255 people from Israel in October 2023 and we facilitated evacuations from Afghanistan in 2021."
Haiti is currently in a state of turmoil with no functioning government, rampant gang violence, and spreading terror. Despite the lack of support from the U.S. Embassy or State Department, Representative Mills (FL-07) has taken it upon himself to conduct rescue missions and will continue to do so when Americans are left stranded.
